A 12-session music development programme for babies and children up to 6 years old, based on Professor Edwin E. Gordon’s Music Learning Theory.

What are the classes about?

The first years of a child’s life are an exceptionally intensive period of brain development. This is when children naturally absorb sounds, rhythm and melody — much like they learn their native language.

During the classes, children are regularly exposed to a wide variety of music presented in a way that is appropriate for their developmental stage.

We mainly sing and explore rhythm through:

• short and varied melodies,
• songs without words,
• rhythmic chants and patterns,
• pieces in different tonalities and metres,
• live music performed without instrumental accompaniment.

Through regular exposure to music presented in this way, children gradually begin to understand and process it naturally.

What do the classes develop? 💙

Classes based on Professor Edwin Gordon’s theory support the development of:

🩶 musical hearing

🩶 sense of rhythm

🩶 accurate singing and pitch control

🩶 musical memory

🩶 audiation — the ability to understand music even when it is not physically being heard

🩶 coordination of movement, body, singing and breathing

🩶 improvisation skills

🩶 foundations for learning to play musical instruments later on

Regular participation is important, which is why the programme has been designed as a complete cycle of 12 weekly sessions.

The first session will take place on:

The following classes will take place every Wednesday at the same time, through 2 December 2026 inclusive.

After the autumn programme ends, there will be an opportunity to continue with the next edition: “Dźwiękonury in Winter” ❄️

Instructor

Aga Żarnowska - is a certified Gordon Music Learning Theory instructor with four years of teaching experience, the founder of the Dźwiękonury educational and music project, and a member of the Polish Edwin E. Gordon Society.

Since 2017, she has continued to develop her knowledge of Music Learning Theory by taking part in courses, workshops and international conferences dedicated to Gordon’s approach.

With care and joy, she supports children from the very first months of life in developing their natural musical abilities, while also helping parents take a thoughtful and conscious approach to their children’s musical education.

Privately, she is a mother of three. She loves greenery, silence, birdsong and the sound of the sea. 🌿🌊

Price

PLN 600 — 12-session programme for one child

PLN 500 — 12-session programme for a second or subsequent sibling

Payment

Payment is divided into two parts:

PLN 200 — registration fee

Non-refundable and payable by bank transfer within 2 business days after submitting the registration.

PLN 400 — remaining balance

Payable by bank transfer by 7 September 2026.

Registration

Registration opens on 23 August 2026 at 10:00 AM.

Places are very limited and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Confirmation of participation

Once your payment has been received, we will confirm that your child has been added to the participant list.

If payment is not received by the specified deadline, we will consider this a cancellation of participation in the classes.

If financial circumstances are an obstacle, please contact us — we will do our best to find a suitable solution together. 🤍

Making up missed classes

If your child misses two classes during the programme, these can be made up during the next programme cycle. In that case, your pass will be extended by 2 weeks.

If your child has more absences, we can additionally offer up to 2 vouchers for Bawialnia Kropka — each voucher is valid for one visit to the playroom for up to 3 hours.
